These exercises (Magic Shoes, Atomic Waste, Hot Maze, the Puzzle, Blocks, etc.) can target issues like communication, trust, reliance, navigation, problem solving, roles, focus, goal setting, listening and integrity. Each exercise is an opportunity for the team to work together to discover their strengths, weaknesses and how they can apply this learning to daily situations and relationships.

These games (Rescue the President, Amazing Race, Paintball, etc.) can teach your team skills like endurance, motivation, decision making, strategic planning, and navigation. They are a 3-4 hour experiences moving you to the next level beyond traditional team building exercises. They challenge your team to learn and work together while having to overcome physical and mental issues that they don’t encounter in a typical classroom setting.
Leadership Assessments
LeaderTreks has several profiling tools that will help your team identify how God has wired them spiritually, emotionally and relationally. Our spiritual gifts testing will introduce them to the idea that God has given them spiritual gifts and that He desires those gifts to play a key role in their work and service. Personality testing can reveal the traits that determine their optimal working environment, relational strengths and weaknesses and how they are uniquely created. LeaderTreks is developing other assesments to help students better understand themselves. Each will be offered as it comes available.
Curriculum
The LeaderTreks model of leadership focuses on four key areas: Leadership Learned, Leadership Experienced, Leadership Challenged and Leadership Evaluated. There are ten leadership principles tied to our model, and everything we do fits into these aspects of leadership. In the model, we recognize that a vital part of growth is evaluation so we have tools that look at individual performance as well as team performance through peer to peer evaluation. Our discipleship curriculum includes Bible studies that teach methods for devotional study and a prayer journal to teach a method for prayer. We have growth journals that focus on overcoming obstacles, character, vision and values. We have a goal setting tool that helps team identify personal goals for short term and long term development. We also have communication building tools that teach the power of encouragement and the importance of clear communication.
