A one day training for adult volunteer
One of the greatest challenges facing youth ministers today is finding and developing great volunteers. It takes more than just a willingness to serve to be an effective youth worker. It takes a set of simple skills that, when applied, open up the door to great ministry opportunities with students. The In and Through Training Event is designed to help you equip your volunteers to be great youth workers.
Our staff will help your staff become experts in developing students. This event will help your youth ministry by unifying your volunteers, helping them understand their jobs, and equipping them with the skills they to be effective as youth workers. Your staff will walk away motivated to minister to your students. Consider In and Through as a great option to help your staff be the best they can be.
3 sessions topics include:

Friend VS Youth worker: This session will help you understand what it takes to move from just keeping students happy to really inspiring them to grow. Topics covered include the fears adults face working with students, stages of development for youth workers, and moving from transactional leadership to transformational leadership.

Core Competencies of a Youth Worker: In this session we will discuss the skills needed to be a great youth worker. These competencies include building relationships, leading an effective small group, and learning how to mentor students.

Developing Students: Helping students discover and apply what God is teaching them is essential to being a great youth worker. This session will help you understand how to use teachable moments in a student’s life, how to raise the expectation for students, and ways to help them reach their full potential.

Becoming a Great Youth Worker: Now that you have a deeper understanding of how to work with students, this session will get you to apply what you have learned. We will look at specific ways that your youth ministry as a whole and you as an individual can become better at meeting the needs of the students God has entrusted to you.
Starting at $1,000 for the Entire Day
Includes 12 participants, participants above the included 12 only pay $39. Add on a fourth "Creating a Vision for our Youth Ministry" strategy session for $500.
Where does this happen?
Your organization will host the event and can happen at a retreat center, home or at a church. The only thing we ask is for space to project PowerPoint and enough room to do some activities and interaction.
